I lost my goal weight of 10 pounds and exceeded that goal by 10.  Total Weight loss 20 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;2. I have maintained the same weight for 4 months now!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I literally tried everything.  HCG, going to the gym excessively, personal trainers, trying to watch what I eat on my own... etc.  Nothing worked and I started feeling worse and worse about myself.  Right when I was ready to give up and embrace my sad life of obesity (haha), I joined Weight Watchers which really saved my life.  It teaches you how to eat, what you should be eating, and they do all of their system off of points.  I loved it.  I didnt feel so resticted.  I could eat really what I wanted, I just had to calculate all the points.  I knew that if I kept my points every week I would step on that scale and lose at least 2 pounds.  And it felt great!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You can go &lt;a href="http://craigandalyssafam.blogspot.com/2010/06/ww-part-2.html"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;here&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt; or &lt;a href="http://craigandalyssafam.blogspot.com/2010/06/impossible-became-possible.html"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;here&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt; to get an idea of what you should be eating but let me give you the best advice I can give you... JOIN!  Pay the 40 dollars a month and once you become a lifetime member like me, its free.  So really I only had to pay for 2 1/2 months.   You will be more likely to lose if you are accountable to weighing in to that little old lady every week.  You do not want to see that disappointment on her face when you have gained a half a pound or something, and it helps you to make smart food choices during the week.  The website tools also give you excellent recipes.  I promise you it is the best thing I have EVER done for myself.  I am not afraid to shop anymore and I feel great about myself.  Weight watchers also has weekly allowance points of 35 so in an emergency you can use them.  They still guarantee with their system that you will lose .5 to 2.5 pounds or more every week.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also 2 more discoveries I have made:  Turkey Burgers and Turkey Tacos.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Buy the thin whole wheat buns, frozen turkey burgers at Smiths, one slice of fat free cheese, and a dab of ketchup grill it on your George Forman grill and it is 6 points. &lt;br /&gt;Then you can have 4 tablespoons ground turkey, 1/4 cup fat free cheese, a whole wheat taco, and olives, and lettuce for 6 points!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I can still eat the food I love, I just have to tweek it a little.  I cant even express to people how amazing weight watchers is. Everyone must have reached their goals. :) Everyone but me of course. No?&lt;div&gt;Well I myself have never posted. Shortly after I joined this blog I found out that I was pregnant and decided that it was probably best that I stop trying to lose weight. Not sure that worked out so great for me since I gained a whopping 14 lbs the entire pregnancy. How does that happen!? I know you all hate me. I get that a lot. In my defense though I wasn't trying to lose or not gain much weight. I ate what I wanted when I wanted it. Either way when the baby finally came I resolved to get better at maintaining the weight I was at since miraculously I came out of the pregnancy a couple lbs shy of what I was when I started. I felt great! Well fast forward to today. My baby is 6 months old and I've gained it all back and probably then some (haven't wanted to step on a scale). &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;So I have resolved to get my butt in gear. I would love it if I could just feel better. Even if I don't lose weight; as long as I feel good I'm ok with that.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;So I'm going to re-evaluate my goals and hopefully be putting up new ones this week. :) &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;And if anyone is still there I'd love to hear how you're doing! Amazing seeing how I only stick to my diet half the time. But I guess half a diet is better than no diet at all. I am loving the treadmill right now. It lets me get my runs in without being cold and my knee doesn't hurt as bad. Although I still think running outside it a much better workout. Hopefully soon the sun will come out and I can hit the pavement. I hate even stepping on that thing. I think the worst is when you have been working hard all week and you weigh yourself and you haven't even lost anything, sometimes you may have even gained a pound! Ugh! Well today I loved what the scale had to say because I have lost 3 pounds. Doesn't it seem like when you start to see results it helps to motivate you a little more? And all of the hard work and pain and suffering you have been going through is starting to be worth it? Well today I feel good. It's really quite amazing because usually I fizzle out after about a week. :)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I owe my exercise success to has been the Wii Active 30-Day Challenge.  It's really gotten me pumped and motivated.  I've missed the last couple days because I haven't felt well.  But I've noticed a difference in my energy level when I exercise.  I've been doing the 30-Day Challenge at a "Hard" level and it's been kicking my butt.  Seriously there have been days when I've wondered if I would ever walk again.  Another thing that has helped is that I have a friend that texts me when she gets up early in the morning to exercise.  We stay accountable to each other and it keeps us honest. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As for my diet, I've found one that should help regulate my insulin, and ultimately regulate my menstrual cycle.  (I'm sure we can all do to be more regular)  It also helps with weight loss, but I don't have much I need to lose.  Anyway, as part of my diet, I've been writing down everything I eat and it has been an eye-opening experience.  Apparently I really really like breads, muffins, junk food, etc.  I'm eating a more balanced diet and it's also added to my energy level as well.  I'm also finding a lot of really yummy and healthy recipes.  I'll post soon!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hooray for us all getting back on the horse!  Let's stay on it! I usually rotate my collection, so I don't get sick of any videos, but I decided to check some out from the library, too.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I tried Cardio Dance Fusion this morning, and it kicked my butt.&amp;nbsp; I have never worked so hard doing a dance exercise video.&amp;nbsp; Even the instructor was out of breath.&amp;nbsp; It says on the cover "Visible results in 10 workouts guaranteed" and I believe it.&amp;nbsp; I weigh the same (if not a little more) than I did when this blog started.&amp;nbsp; Nothing has changed, and it's driving me crazy!&amp;nbsp; It doesn't help that I get severe PMS for at least a week, and then feel horrible during my period, so that's about two weeks out of every month where I don't feel like exercising, but I do feel like eating chocolate.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm ready to do something about it, though, because I'm sick of complaining.&amp;nbsp; This is my new phrase for the year, New Year New You! And this applies to my life in alot of different ways. A fresh new start. One of the biggest goals for the New Year for me is to finally lose the weight that just keeps hanging on. And I know it is probably a lot of yours too. I want to be able to look good in a pair of skinny jeans and just feel comfortable and confident! I have also found some fun new classes at my gym. I have tried Zumba, which is so much fun. And another new class called Hustle, which is a hip hop class. I also love the old classes, power sculpt, kick box, and step. Working out can be fun. Although, I do miss my awesome workout partners. (But I &lt;em&gt;dont&lt;/em&gt; miss that sweaty guy on the stair machine!) &lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;So I have met my first week goal and I am down 2 pounds! My neighbor gave me a great diet and she has already sucessfully lost 10 pounds so I would love to e-mail it to anyone that is interested. Lets get Fat People No 'Mo up and running again! Hope everyone is still doing great and working towards their goals.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With the holidays coming up, it's only going to get harder to hit the gym and avoid some of those traditional holidays treats...Mainly Halloween candy, Pies, mashed potatoes and gravy, cookies and egg nog. Yum!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have to share. I had a breakthrough today and I am officially back to my pre-pregnancy weight and have even exceeded it by a whole pound! I am so stoked! Best thing about this is that I feel amazing, have more energy and It seems like I have a whole new wardrobe [my old skinny clothes]. I can't say it's been easy and that I haven't wanted to give up, but I can say it is SO worth all those early morning classes [where I'm practically stumbling out of bed to get my butt to the gym on time], Avoiding all those delicious looking treats, and just staying focused on what I know will make me happiest.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, I hope this serves as a motivator. Hearing that other people can do this is what helps me stay focused and hopeful. I have 2 more pounds until I reach my ultimate goal and I know I can do this. Some words of wisdom that I have received have been that getting fit and reaching your goals isn't just something that you stop doing once you have attained your goals, but it's more of a change of lifestyle. I strongly believe this and so far, I think I'm really liking this lifestyle.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;P.S. Amy, you're the best workout partner anyone could ask for. Are we sticking to our goals, exercising, and, hopefully, losing weight? I am having a hard time with the eating part of this whole challenge, which I new would be what I would struggle with. I had a few good weeks, but have kind of reverted back to my old binging days. Why does food have to taste AND make me feel so good? It is pretty healthy too, except for the butter that is! I am sure you could reduce it if you wanted. My mom used skim milk and it tasted great!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cream of Zucchini Soup&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1 large onion chopped&lt;br /&gt;6 T. margarine or butter&lt;br /&gt;6 c. sliced or shredded zucchini (the giant ones with seeds removed work well)&lt;br /&gt;6 c. chicken broth&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Simmer onion until soft in margarine.  Add zucchini and broth.  Bring to a boil for 15 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Add:&lt;br /&gt;¼ t. ground black pepper&lt;br /&gt;¼ t. nutmeg¼ t. salt&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Put all in blender and puree. I stumbled across a particular site that I've really liked.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.diet.com/"&gt;Diet.com&lt;/a&gt; has a lot of different utilities built into it.  I spent a bit of time in their Recipe section and I was really impressed.  You can sort through recipes by meal(snack, dinner, dessert) or by cuisine(American, Italian, etc) or by Nutrition(calories, fat, etc).  And the recipes I've peaked at look really yummy!  Also, each recipe has all of the nutritional information posted, so you know exactly what you're consuming.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Take a peak! But this week I'm going to add another one.  I'm going to look for healthy (and tasty, since those two don't always go hand in hand) recipes.  I'll give them a try and report next week on how they go. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One of my biggest problems is snacking.  Cookies are just too yummy!  My preference for healthy snacking is dried fruit and fruit leather.  But I constantly have my mother's voice in my head telling me that if I eat too many, they're going to re-hydrate in my stomach and then I'll explode.  So I'm hoping to branch out this week.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'll let you know how it goes. It was just a beginner triathlon, so 1.5 mile run, 6.5 mile bike, and 200 yard swim.  I finished faster than I expected I would (50:57), so I felt pretty good about that, even though I felt like I might pass out when I finished.  I was really shaky and stuff.  That was tough!  I need to get in better shape if I ever want to try it again.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For weigh in news, I lost 2 lbs this past week. This may be gross, but I must share. When I was younger, I remember watching my older sister workout and I remember thinking how hard she must have worked to get sweat to show up on her shirt the way it did. I wanted to be just like her and so when I would work out, I'd try and try to get sweat to show through on my shirt. It would never happen. Well, yesterday when I got home from the gym, I looked in the mirror and what do you know...I had a sweat mark! Anyway I'm pretty happy about it. I worked hard last night to get it and I'm dang proud. Wow!  I still have a lot of work to do to achieve my goals.  Drinking water is hard!  I feel like I drink enough...okay, I'm not dehydrated...but I still have a ways to go before I reach my goal. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am proud to announce that I'm building muscle!  I gained a pound this week, but I'm sure it's muscle...my arms are MUCH less flabby and old-lady-like.  And I love how I feel after I exercise!  I'm feeling much healthier already! I'm doing a beginner triathlon this Saturday, and I'm really nervous.  I think I might die. It is pretty exciting changing my ticker! I was a little afraid of the weigh in today because of the peanut butter bars I made last night but all of my hard work is starting to pay off. I am so glad I have two awesome workout partners to motivate me! I was doing the HCG diet but I found out that you can't exercise when you are on the diet. So I have adjusted my diet a little and I am now trying to stay within 1200 calories. I am feeling so much better about myself eating better and actually getting hungry when it is time to eat because I haven't been snacking all day. For anyone who knows me, this will be pretty surprising.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 100%;"&gt;I kind of liked my run tonight. I don't want this to get around, so don't tell anyone, but it felt good. I was in a groove. Maybe something in me just clicked. I don't know. I don't think I'll ever become a distance runner, but a mile or two I can handle, and it's really not the worst thing in the world.
